I have had 2 horrible experiences at the surgery center but this is the end. I had an endoscopy to check out my esophagus. I never heard back so I assumed all was fine. My primary dr also goofed. He got the results and I guess didn’t read them until I was in the office. I had a hiatal hernia that needed emergency surgery. He sent out polyps for biopsy but Dr fan either never sent it out or never got the results. He is pleasant but not competent. To continue. I wrote him asking him to prove he sent the results of the endoscopy. No answer. I had spinal stimulator replacement surgery which never should have been performed before the hernia surgery. I spent 5 days in icu because of complications that could have been regarded. My heart almost imploded because of blood around my heart. Still suffering. Lawyer next ?

Horrible experience with this clinic in Long beach..My second appointment at this clinic this time with Dr Fan.
Dr. Fan he came into the room and started speaking instantly with no eye contact writing something. He did not , introduce himself, i had to ask who he was first, then I mentioned to him that I was very unhappy with my prior visit there with Dr Cyril Anyadike, MD at the same location and that I needed to talk to him about my experience..He did not seem to like what I say!!!...after I finish He was being rude and being smart mouth.. I told him that I was very unhappy about the last time I saw
[ ] Dr Cyril Anyadike, MD and explained to Him what was happening to me and my accid reflux ..how I felt it has damaged my esophagus and throat.. I was not able talk at all for weeks..Dr Cyril Anyadike, didn't introduce himself, ..He sat in front of me arms crossed listen ..asked me what was i taking..I mentioned 20 ml Omeprazole 2 times a day. After that he said we will do a endoscopy..then walked out the door and was sent home with no instructions or meds for my pain at all. He ended up doing my endoscopy after all. .
[ ] While speaking Dr Fan, He was writing something and seem careless about what I was sayings and started to look upset..I'm lisening!.. he said..not looking at me eye to eye .
He seem to be writing something.
I brought in my medical history which he completely ignored. I took out the pictures of my prior endoscopy, didn't see them close ..from his chair all He said was.. I see imflamation..that all!! with actitud!
I also said to him that how is possibly that I come to a Gastroenterologist specialist and I get to be sent home with 0 instructions of what to eat or not to eat..and NO prescriptions meds to alleviate my pain..
I was literally suffering for weeks..2 months to be exact..soon after I was at the ER finally they did gave me something to protect my stomach lining which help a lot.,..Why couldn't this two doctors do that for me.
Dr Fan also sent me home with no instructions or meds..
I said you are the doctor "I come to you to tell me what to do" to instruct me and explain my condition...I had to get myself informed tru goggle..
He could care less ,I also mentioned if I could get a test for palory..He reply. You don't have palory!!..but if you want test fine!! This was after the endoscopy results were out..
When asked what are next steps , He said ,Well You seem to know all" I reply..No I don't doctor..I just tried to explain and to get guidance from you...im not a doctor, I don't know..
He responded smart "O Yeah you do !!
I'm like what what's this supposed to mean?.I have never deal with a doctor so disrespectful, and uncompacionate..So cold..so careless!!
I went home again..NO INSTRUCTIONS OF WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO FOLLOW UP..NO RELIEVE MEDS ..NOTHING
Yes ..This office is an assembly line...get 'em in, get 'em out.Get the money ..don't go there!..Horrible!!

I have read some very bad reviews and was nervous coming to this place. Although my experience from the moment I walked in for the consultation was professional from staff to speaking with doctor. All my questions we’re answered. The day of my procedure was exactly the same. Everyone was efficient and very nice. I did have to wait and extra hour however there were many people coming in for the same procedure (colonoscopy), and you never know if there are complications with a patient. Every single nurse was delightful!

Due to complications from exposure to mold, I have been seeing physicians and alternative practitioners alike for the past year or so and my experience has run the gamut from excellent to poor- however my visit with Dr Fan yesterday hit an all time low. He was impatient, rude, non-informative, and condescending. Frankly, he seems all together lacking in the most important aspect of healing: compassion. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I tried three times over the period of a week to schedule an appointment with Dr. Fan. Each of the five times that I called, I was on hold for at least 20 minutes. After waiting I was connected to the voicemail. I left voicemails and no one ever called me back.
