Efficient processing of FAA medical certificate renewal. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I personally do not agree with their Covid vaccine policy, where they want to see your Covid vaccine card. In my opinion, a medical professional should not discriminate against people who are not vaccinated. What difference does it make? Whether one is vaccinated or not. Are you gonna ask for flu vaccine next? What happened to our freedom in this country?

If I could leave a 0 star I would.

The only positive is the reception staff and nurses.

Doctor Samir Shahin was unprofessional, rude, and insulting. He belittled me for my age and insulted my health. I felt personally assaulted and walked out of his office in tears for how he made me feel with his sarcastic and rude comments.

After we had finished and I was getting blood work done he popped his head in to make one last sarcastic comment and said "well your chest Xray looks good to me so how about you just keep on smoking."

He will make you take tons of tests to drive up the cost of the visit and will try and sell you his "Diet vitamins"

This experience was so bad for me I have filed an official complaint with the Medical Board of California and will be fallowing up. This man should have his medical license revoked.

I was seen by Dr Shahin for a FAA first class physical. My appointment was for 1030 am and I needed an EKG. I was out by 1115 am with my certificate in hand. Very impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the staff.

Would definitely recommend Dr Shahin if you need an FAA physical.

Wow, this place is absolutely incredible. Beautiful office, welcoming nurses and receptionists, clean, very professional, and Dr. Samir Shahin is very nice and kind. Highly recommend him for any FAA medical exams. He really takes his time with each patient and cares about your future and dreams. I'd give this place more stars if I could. Ignore those negative reviews they were from along time ago and go book a medical at this place.

Rude and Overbearing Doctor.

The people who work here are nice and respectful. Not as efficient as you'd hope. My pharmacy made multiple requests for a refill and didn't hear back. Excuses were made, callbacks happened 50% of the time. Nice people but you have to stay on top of communication. This is a 1 star review if they weren't at least nice.

The bigger issue rests with the doctor, who has photos of himself with famous people in his hallways. Never seen that before, but it fits. Other negative reviews for this doctor used phrases like, 'Aloof and pompous' and 'made fun of me.' I'm surprised at the last one but I kind of believe it after my experience.

I left annoyed at receiving his pushy views that had nothing to do with the purpose of my visit. He was more focused on talking to me about his agenda than he was about my need for healthcare. So I'll add 'rude and overbearing.'

I went in for bloodwork and the doctor took full advantage and ran other tests beyond the scope of my visit. Guess I have that good insurance. Pay more attention to these negative reviews, I don't give many negative ones. This one is earned. The doctor earned it.

I visited Samir in 2019 as I was looking for a primary care physician. On my first consultation I forgot the exact dosage of my prescription. Instead of saying "ok, we'll get your medical records from your previous doctor" he basically started making fun of me, even saying something to the nurse like "he's fragile" even though I was being very kind to him and even apologized for not knowing my dosage. Never went back

I will NOT be returning to this cramped, crowded office anytime soon! I waited for over an hour to be seen, and the doctor who saw me was one of the most pompous, aloof people I've ever met. The staff is unfriendly, obviously doesn't enjoy working there, and they DO try and "rip you off" as best they can (see Yelp review for this user experience). I cannot recommend visiting this office. Go get your immigration physical somewhere else, and save yourself the hassle of standing in their hallway for over an hour...

This is one of the worst clinics in Los Angeles hands down! Terrible customer service, on the phone and in person. The "nurses" seem like they hate dealing with anyone waiting to see this doctor. They're just lounging on their phones not caring about their jobs and lamenting their exsistence. Every time I would call for a simple refill of a harmless acne medication they would drill me with questions as if I hadn't gotten refills on this prescription dozens of times from them over the last year. They would always seem like they liked making it hard for you to order a refill because they just want you to come in for an appointment every time($90), and they will insist upon it. after calling multiple times and asking to speak to the doctor, I would get passed around from nurse to nurse until one would put me on eternal hold.

The doctor never called me back either. He seems unreachable, and the place has a dishonest and dismal vibe to it. Lots of laziness, and blatant scamminess. Stay away from this place unless you want to be treated like your bothering your nurses or doctors by being sick.
